Ed Frauenheim

Ed Frauenheim is Director of Research and Content at Great Place to Work®. He authors research reports, conducts data analysis and produces commentaries related to great workplaces in the United States and throughout the world.
Prior to joining Great Place to Work, Ed spent roughly 15 years as a journalist and commentator focused on the intersection of work, technology and business strategy. Ed also has organized and spoken at a variety of live and online events. He has co-written two books: Organized Innovation: A Blueprint for Renewing America’s Prosperity, and Good Company: Business Success in the Worthiness Era. His work also has appeared in publications including Fortune, Wired and Salon.com. Ed earned a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a master’s degree in education from the University of California at Berkeley. He lives in San Francisco, has two great kids and loves spending time with his dancer-artist wife. You also can find him playing basketball, running, swimming and dancing to Daft Punk.
