Several scenarios stand out: 1) 2 weeks after COVID shut down the country in March 2020, the Executive Management Team called an All Hands Meeting to announce that everyone's job was secure, there was no need to fear layoffs. And they kept to their promise, we didn't layoff a single person in North America. 2) Because of Russia's attack on Ukraine and the war they started, Hilti Group decided to halt all business in Russia but still proceeded to provide for our Russian employees. 3) Due to the rapid increase in inflation this year, all North American team members are getting an increase in their salary.
