There always seems to be some fun event happening. Leadership is intentional about creating a fun and welcoming space for everyone. Senior leadership (VPs and above) are very hands on but not in a way where they're micromanaging. Rather, they're curious to learn about the reality of day-to-day operations and how improve processes, reduce friction, make life easier for employees, etc.
